Where to find a study space at Caulfield

As exam study intensifies, 1500 seats are available at Caulfield Library, in addition to study spaces and computer labs elsewhere on the campus.

The Caulfield Library is now fully open, and  has a total of 1500 seats for quiet study or collaborative work over levels 1-4.

Views over the campus and the airy well lit spaces make the upper floors a pleasant location.

On the level 1, there is also the option of grabbing a coffee at the Flipside Cafe, near the entrance.


Until 22 June 2018 , the Caulfield Library is open:

• Monday to Friday: 8am to 12 Midnight
• Saturday, Sunday: 8am to 9pm

For exam study, other locations at Caulfield campus are available and are listed below for your convenience. If you find that a room or area listed here is not accessible, please find other alternatives.

For all students (open access)

Open Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm during Swot vac and exams

Building C:  Level 1 -140 spaces

Building T:  Level 1, Computer labs T125 and T126, (open 24/7) - 60 spaces

Building K: Level 2 - 320 Spaces, Level 3 - 140 spaces
Mon-Fri, 7am to 10pm, Sat and Sun 7am to 7pm

Building S: Level 2, Student Lounge, The Common Lounge and study spaces - 20 spaces

Building B:
Level 1, Monash Connect - 20 spaces
Level 2, foyer areas - 70 spaces
Level 3, South window seating - 30 spaces

For Postgraduate students (swipe card access)
Open 24/7

Building C: Level 2, Postgraduate Precinct - 120 spaces

Building T: Level 2, Computer labs and study spaces - 110 spaces

Building H: 
Basement Syndicate room HB33 - 10 spaces
Level 1,Postgraduate Lounge H132 - 35 spaces
Level 2, Syndicate rooms (H224, H225, H231, H232, H233 and H234) and casual seats  - 105 spaces
