Where to find a study space at Clayton

Our three libraries at Clayton campus together offer the largest number and range of study spaces and they're open longer during Swot Vac and exams. But there are many more alternative areas available on campus. Check the list below.

We anticipate an increased demand for quiet study spaces on campus during the Swot Vac and exam period.

Sir Louis Matheson Library 

• Open 8am until 2am Mon-Thurs beginning 28 May until 22 June, until 9pm on Fridays
• Open from 9am to 6pm on weekends
• 1780 spaces

Hargrave-Andrew Library 

• Open 8am until 10pm Mon-Fri
• Open 10am until 5pm on weekends
• 1170 spaces

Law Library

• Open 8am until 9pm Mon-Fri
• Open 10am until 5pm on weekends 
• 800 spaces

Learning and Teaching Building, 15 Ancora Imparo Way

• Regular hours: Mon-Fri: 6am to 12am,  Sat-Sun: 8am to 5.30pm
• Swot Vac/Exams hours ( 28 May to 22 June): Mon to Fri 6am to 2am; Sat-Sun 8am to 6pm

Campbell Hall, 21 Sports Walk, ground floor

• Open 24/7, 50 spaces

Campus Centre, 21 Chancellors Walk,  level 1, Airport Lounge 

• 24/7,  140 spaces

Menzies Building, 20 Chancellors Walk

• Level 1 South, 7am to 9pm, 50 spaces
• Level 1 North, 7am to 9pm, 25 spaces

Faculty of Medicine Offices, 43 Rainforest Walk,  Foyer

•  8.30am-5.15pm, 50 spaces

Green Chemical Futures,  13 Rainforest Walk, Foyer

•  7am-9pm, 40 spaces

For graduate and masters students

Campbell Hall, 21 Sports Walk, Ground Floor

• 7am to 12am, 40 spaces

For PhD thesis students

Holman Hall, 27 Sports Walk, Ground Floor

• 7am to 12am, 40 spaces
